There are four routes you can take if you want to immigrate to Saskatchewan:
1. International Skilled Worker Category
2. Saskatchewan Experience Category
3. Entrepreneur and Farm Category
4. International Graduate Entrepreneur Category.
- International skilled professionals who want to live and work in Saskatchewan fall under this category.
- For foreign workers who are currently residing in Saskatchewan, including those who have a valid work permit and international grads, there is the Saskatchewan Experience Category.
- For people who want to own and actively run a business or a farming operation in Saskatchewan, there is the Entrepreneur and Farm Category.
- International graduates with plans to launch a business in Saskatchewan who have graduated from an appropriate post-secondary institution are eligible for the International Graduate Entrepreneur Category.
International Skilled Worker Category
There are four pathways available for the international skilled worker category:
- Tech Talent Pathway: This subcategory is for highly talented employees who have received a job offer from a Saskatchewan firm in one of 11 tech-related occupations. Study more.
- Employment Offer: This subcategory is for qualified candidates who have received an employment offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
- Occupations In Demand - This subcategory is for highly qualified individuals who have experience in an occupation that is in demand in Saskatchewan but who do not yet have a job offer from the government.
- Express Entry - Candidates who are already in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry pool and have experience in a Saskatchewan-demanded occupation are eligible for this subcategory.
