 Canada has a well-established reputation for embracing immigrants into its numerous provinces, each of which has its own criteria and advantages. Saskatchewan's Provincial Nominee Program is known as SINP. Through this immigration scheme, the province can recommend to the federal government non-Canadian candidates with a skilled trade for PR and employment in Saskatchewan.

SINP PNP Immigration Streams:

There are four routes you can take if you want to immigrate to Saskatchewan:

1. International Skilled Worker Category 
2. Saskatchewan Experience Category 
3. Entrepreneur and Farm Category 
4. International Graduate Entrepreneur Category.

• International skilled professionals who want to live and work in Saskatchewan fall under this category.
• For foreign workers who are currently residing in Saskatchewan, including those who have a valid work permit and international grads, there is the Saskatchewan Experience Category.
• For people who want to own and actively run a business or a farming operation in Saskatchewan, there is the Entrepreneur and Farm Category.
• International graduates with plans to launch a business in Saskatchewan who have graduated from an appropriate post-secondary institution are eligible for the International Graduate Entrepreneur Category.

International Skilled Worker Category

There are four pathways available for the international skilled worker category:

• Tech Talent Pathway: This subcategory is for highly talented employees who have received a job offer from a Saskatchewan firm in one of 11 tech-related occupations. Study more.
• Employment Offer: This subcategory is for qualified candidates who have received an employment offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
• Occupations In Demand - This subcategory is for highly qualified individuals who have experience in an occupation that is in demand in Saskatchewan but who do not yet have a job offer from the government.
• Express Entry - Candidates who are already in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry pool and have experience in a Saskatchewan-demanded occupation are eligible for this subcategory.

How does the SINP work?

A candidate can build a profile and submit an application to the express entry pool of the Saskatchewan Nominee Program, a points-based system, to show interest in the programme. The following criteria must be met in order to be qualified on Saskatchewan PNP points calculator:

•  For the language proficiency test, you need an IELTS score of at least 7 on each band.
•  You must have completed at least one year of post-secondary training or education that is on par with the educational system in Canada.
•  The field of your professional experience should match the field of your academic training.
•  If you currently reside in Canada, you must have proof of residency.
•  Along with the settlement plan, you must show that there are enough funds to cover the payment.
•  You must receive a minimum SINP point assessment score of 60 out of 100.

Eligibility to apply for Saskatchewan PNP 

• Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code
• Language test results such as:

1.   International English Language Testing System (IELTS General)
2.   Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)
3.   Test d 'evaluation de français (TEF)

•  Documents of you training and/or post-secondary education
•  Minimum 1-year, full-time, paid work experience in NOC O, A or B Skilled Occupations
•  Proof of Employment and Reference Letter
•  Proof of Professional Status or Licensure (if applicable)
•  Proof of settlement funds
•  Documents to prove family or close relatives (if applicable)
•  Proof of Saskatchewan work and/or study Experience (if applicable)
•  Identity proofs, passport, health and character certificates

Step to apply for SINP

• Step 1: Make an Express Entry profile online.
• Step 2: Select Saskatchewan as your preferred location when prompted.
• Step 3: Establish your profile on the SINP website. 
• Step 4: After you have finished all the requirements, it will be examined by Saskatchewan immigration officials.
• Step 5: After that, you'll be given a certain window of time to upload your PDF files.
• Step 6: They will provide you a provincial nomination if they decide you are qualified.
• Step 7: Apply for being a permanent resident in the final application submission for which you shall get 60 days.
• Step 8: Get your Confirmation for Permanent Residence (CoPR).
