What can you expect from the next Express Entry draw in 2022?
Approximately every two weeks, the Canadian government holds
an Express Entry draw. The next Canada express entry draw is contemplated for
April 28, 2022.
The express entry program is the most popular and shortest
way to get a PR visa in Canada. It is an application management system that was
introduced in 2015 and controls the profiles of immigrant candidates who have
applied for a PR visa under three federal economic immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
The Express Entry uses a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to
rank express entry profiles in the pool. The top-ranked profiles are given ITAs
(Invitation to Apply) to submit their PR Visa applications to Immigration,
Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Canada holds regular expedited entry draws that last about two weeks. In a typical month, two entry draws are done. All immigrants who aspire to become permanent residents in Canada keep a close eye on the Canada Express entrance draw forecasts.
How can Covid-19 impact Express
Entry Draw?
The Canadian government is taking every precaution to combat
the Covid-19 epidemic and has made various policy adjustments as well as
placed travel restrictions throughout the outbreak. However, Express Entry and
associated draws are unaffected. The Federal Government, as well as PNP
governments, are actively holding draws and inviting applicants to apply for Canada PR. In reality, additional draws were held, and ITAs were
issued in record numbers.
